Something Bigger was created in the fall of 2013 when @WriterFreak001 (Twitter) & @Badgerinthetardis11 (Tumblr) were inspired with the idea to co-write a fanfiction story involving the following fandoms: Beauty & the Beast, Supernatural, The Originals, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries and Smallville.

 

We wondered what it would be like if all of these fandoms merged together and created one unique world. When we started, we only planned on writing fanfiction (Something Bigger). Then, as we began watching BATB Season 2, we started texting our responses back and forth. These responses then became @WriterFreak001 and @Badgerinthetardis11's Beastie-famous "Text Talks."

 

Over the summer, we finally were able to come up with a way to record podcasts in place of our Text Talks. When the idea was born, we decided to call the podcast: Something Bigger: A Nerdcast to support the nerds all around us.
